Yes, I have been slack at Blogging, but we have been busy.

Quite a few guests up this June. Just had a fully booked weekend and 4 cottages are occupied this week.

Busy getting ready for the summer, which officially kicks off here June 28 with our return of our group which takes all 10 cottages for the first week.

Updated 3 BBQ's with new burners and flame retarders, and there are 3 brand new ones in place. Bought another new kayak yesterday, a red sit ontop BIC, bringing our kayak fleet up to 5! Cottage #9 has a brand new electric stove (yes brand new).

Lake level is still up for this time of the year, but with the winter we had (record snowfall) and the rain this spring, it is not surprising. Water is warming up and many of the guests, Lucy & Harriet and their friends have been swimming, but I must admit I have not been in yet this year.

July is pretty well booked up now, although there are still 3 spots in July. In August we still have openings, with a lot of cottage choice the week of Aug 16, so if you are still looking for a family holiday destination, get in touch. I know many of you are still looking because we are getting over 50 hits a day on our website!

With the price of gas, many people are looking for a good value, economical holiday this summer. The beauty of staying at a cottage resort, is once you arrive you don't have to leave! Bring your food for the week with you when you check-in on Saturday and that is it, park your car and sit back and relax. Many of our repeat guests proudly tell me how they never leave the place between Sat to Sat, other then to maybe slip out for a game of golf. If you do need groceries, beer or wine, all is available within 6 kms!

Looking forward to catching up with everyone again this coming summer and of course finally getting to meet our new guests.
