Seasons Greetings to everyone from John, Louise, Lucy, Harriet and Mollie.
Winter is in full swing up this way. I spent yesterday skiing at Hidden Valley Highlands and conditions were great. Almost all runs are open and the 3 chairs and rope tow are in operation.
Clear lake is frozen although I have not ventured out more then 50 feet or so. As you can see our friend who sits by the fire circle in the campgound is patiently waiting for springs return.
Till next time
John

At Last, Winter Fun Is Here!
I am looking out the window at a frozen Clear Lake, although the ice will still be very thin. It was well below zero this morning at around -12c and this Saturday Hidden Valley will open for skiing and boarding,
http://www.skihiddenvalley.on.ca/ I was out there last night completing another segment of my ski patrol recertification and they are doing an amazing job with the snow making. The red and blue chair plus rope tow will be open this weekend, along with a portion of the terrain park. Then starting Sat Dec 18 they will be open 7 days a week for 3 weeks straight over the school holidays.
Till next time
