Just a brief update on vacancies for the remainder of the summer and 2010.
We have a 2 bedroom cottage the week of Aug 22-29, then 2-2 bedrooms and 1-3 bedroom the week of Aug 29-Sep 4 (6 night stay) and only 1 cottage left for Labour Day weekend.
It appears summer has arrived! The forecast for the next week is spectacular and lets hope it holds for the month. That said, despite the less then perfect summer "weather wise" we have had to date this year, it has not been too bad. If you spoke to our guests they would say that the weather always out performed the forecast. Many days they were calling for a 70% chance of rain and we received nothing.
So if you are still looking for a cottage this summer give us a call. Do not leave it until the last minute as I am sure they will go soon with this turn in the weather.
Regarding 2010, we have had many queries and visits from interested potential guests and the plan is to have the 2010 vacancy calendar up after Labour Day weekend. At this point I can say there are not too many openings due to the large number of re-bookings, however we always have some who change their minds etc.. so it is always a good idea to keep an eye on the calendar once we post it, as it will change constantly.
One final note, we have a brand new toy in the water, a Rave Bongo.
