February Update

Just thought I would update you on "goings on" up here now that Feb has arrived.

It certainly has been a fantastic winter if winter activities are your thing. Many people, and I have to agree, hav been saying that this winter is the type of winter we remember as children, plenty of snow, cold nights and a lot more sunny days then say we had last year. Cross country ski conditions are excellent and downhill areas have plenty of natural snow and a good base.

We had guests staying in Cottage #10 this past weekend and they had a great time on the trails at Arrowhead. Once they got home they emailed us a lovely note:

"Hi John, just to let you know that we really enjoyed our short stay... that was winterland perfect. We will probably do this again next year.Thanks for the hospitality, everything was great. Enjoy your little corner of paradise".

It is such a nice extra bonus when people let you know that they had a good time and it really does make all our efforts seem more then worthwhile.

Kearney Dog Sleds are on this weekend, so if you would like to come up and watch, give us a call and we can put you up in a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom cottage.

Those of you who have pre-booked a cottage for summer 2009, please note your deposits were due by Jan 31, so if you want to retain your booking, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

New guests, please see our vacancy calendar for up to date info on what is available. Still cottages available the weeks of June 27-July 4, July 4-July 11, July 25-Aug 1, Aug 15-22, Aug 22-29 and Aug 29-Sep 4.
