Winters Arrival

Hello Readers

Yes, we to have been "winterised" within the last few days. Friday/Saturday I was out raking the campground in shirt sleeves, Sunday morning we awoke to snow on the ground and tree branches sagging under the weight of the white stuff.

This morning it was nearly 10 below when we got up, so yes, it appears winter has arrived.

Yesterday afternoon Harriet, Mollie and I were tobogganing down the hill between cottage #7 and the volleyball/horseshoes pits and Lucy and a friend skied from our place to Bookers next door!

We are all fine here, I have started re-training for another season of ski patrol at Hidden Valley Highlands, Louise has been getting the bookstore ready for Christmas and the kids are both anxiously awaiting the opening of Hidden Valley so they can get skiing. Yes, Harriet now has a pair of skis as well and will try her hand at downhill this winter.
