August Begins

Hello Readers

Greetings to those of you who have already been up and spent a week or two with us this summer and also to those who will be joining us over the next few weeks.

It is raining at the moment, however we have not had nearly as much rain as you further south and this past week has not been too bad weather wise.

Sorry we are unable to accommodate those who have been ringing all week about a cottage for this coming weekend, however we are booked until August 16 at which time we still a few cottages left.

A liitle excitement this week with visit from a bear. We suspect he is a 1 year old who has been kicked out by Mom and is now trying to make his/her way in the big wide world. I have lodged a report with the MNR and if he/her returns I may call them again. Back in early July we had what was probably the entire family, Mom (we can only guess was nearby) and 3 cubs visit. Now it appears only one is left and busy looking for something to eat.
