Summer has arrived!

Finally, after what I would call a "bumpy" start weather wise to July, the true summer weather is here. Just a great day today. Everybody is tubing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, shuffle boarding, horsehoeing, volley balling and ping ponging.

Finding out from many of the guests, that yes, my blogs are read, so I will try and be more diligent with updates.

Till next time

July News

Hello Readers

Sorry once again for the lack of blogging, it is just that we have been very busy.

Weeks one and two are already gone and week 3 is well on its way! I hope all our guests to date had an enjoyable time, which I assume they did since, they all re-booked for summer 2008.

Summer has finally returned today, after what one can only call days and days of "Fall like" weather. Sunny and 26 today is the forecast and I am sure everyone will be taking advantage of it. It's mid morning and already I have heard the clink of horsehoes, the clack of the shuffle board discs, kids laughing down on the beach and the odd car driving out to go and see a local attraction.

Had our smores night last night and everyone enjoyed it. It was probably the nicest night we have had yet this summer with no wind, clear skies and the sun slowly sinking away over the trees and hills.

Louise has been very busy with her new shop. Yes, she and a friend have opened up a shop in downtown Huntsville in the location of the old Mazooma store. It is called The Gypsy Queen, gallery, gifts and fair trade good. On display and available for sale are several of Louise's panoramic photographs, plus unique gifts and fair trade goods. If you are coming up this summer to stay with us, or you are coming up this way and staying somewhere else, I hope you'll drop in and check it out. The Gypsy Queen, 4 Brunel Rd Huntsville, 705-789-2307.

Well, I best go and get a few things done. There is grass to cut, wood to chop......

Till next time
