Hello Blog Readers
Well, what fantastic weather we have been having!
Over 30c today and again tomorrow. Swimming is just fantastic and when I was taking a dip this afternoon it felt more like a late July day then May. The lake is warming up nicely and of course crystal clear.
Started painting the shuffle board court today. Repainted the lines, tomorrow we'll repaint the entire surface.
Also been busy with all kinds of odd jobs, including replacing fly screens on cottage doors, chopping more wood, repairing & painting all the stairs/decks leading into the cottages......
Till next time

May Update
Hi Blog Readers
Mays wonderful weather continues. I was finally in the water today (well up to my chest) and it is really not all that cold. Bugs are not too bad either.
We are now fully booked for the summer, except for 2 spots at Labour Day, so if you still want to come up/down/across and enjoy Clear lake, pay us a visit in September (or June if you like).
Put a new toy out on the lake today. Check-it out. Till next time

May Long Weekend Wrap Up
Well another Victoria Day Weekend has come and gone, hard to believe.
All 10 cottages and 2 campsites were occupied by our regular group who have been coming for 3 years now and they had an excellent weekend. Last year it snowed and was near freezing, but this year the weather was excellent with only a cooler, cloudier Sunday morning to contend with and even bugs that were not as hungry as usual. People were swimming on Saturday and all our watercraft, including the surfbikes were out on the water. Thanks to all of you who were up here (if you read my Blogs) and we greatly appreciate the effort you put in at leaving your cottages and the grounds clean and tidy. It makes it so much easier for us in getting the place ready for the next group of guests.
Still a few spots available for the June Tri weekend, plus one cottage in August for those of you still looking for a week long summer vacation.
We have been having trouble with our Email, so if you have emailed us in the past few weeks and not received a response, it is because we never received your email, so please email us again. We always answer all our queries promptly.

Summer Season Preparation Continues
Been busy the last few days. Pumphouse back in operation and cottages 1, 10 and 2 now have water. Spring cleaning booked for next week. Load of firewood for the stoves delivered and stacked, splitting up wood for the communal fire continues. Odd jobs continue as well, all in readiness for our full house on Victoria day weekend.
The kids have been in the water already (well sort of) riding the surf bikes peddling the paddle boats.

May Sunshine, Yes!
Hello Blog Readers
Lovely day today and looking nice for the next few.
Busy splitting wood for the communal campfire, put up a BRAND NEW shelter for the ping pong table yesterday, getting organised for putting on the water, all tables, chairs and BBQ's back in place, all the watercraft out and our seasonal staff ready for the big spring clean of the cottages.
Summer is now fully booked, just 2 spots left for Labour Day weekend.
