Hello Readers
Sorry once again for the lack of communication, just been busy.
Just one more day of raking! The hill from the shuffle board court on down and around cottage #7 and I will have raked the entire place. Lovely day today with sun and around 10c, however it looks like we may be heading to more wintery temps and a flurry or two by the weekend.
Louise has been busy in her shop, the Gypsy Queen, getting ready for the Christmas shoppers.
The kids are busy with school, along with piano lessons, swimmming and acrobats.
I have have been spending Sundays and Thursday nights in training for the ski patrol at Hidden Valley Highlands. All going well I'll be patrolling this winter as a member of the CSPS, providing I pass the various written and practical tests between now and the end of the year. Come on snow!
Those of you who usually stay with us in summer or winter, don't forget cottages #1 and #10 are available, we just need at least 48 hours notice so we can have them ready to go. If you have never been up in the winter, it can be a magical time, very peaceful and plenty to do with skiing at Hidden Valley, crosscountry skiing at Arrowhead, tubing at Rockridge....
Till next time.
John
