Spring Vacancy Update

Hello Readers

What is happening? Two weeks ago I put away the snow shovels, bedded down the snowblowers, brought the mower to the front of the shed, readied the rakes, hung out our Welcome Flag at the entrance and got myself prepared for our spring working bee. Now I sit waiting for the snow to melt (yet again) and the frost to leave the ground so we can get on with it. Come on Mother Nature, gives us our Spring!

Thought I would take the opportunity to update you on our vacancies.

Vacancy Report

Has with previous years, we will have all 10 cottages available beginning with the May long weekend.

May 24th weekend (Victoria Day) is booked out and we have no openings for Canada Day as our weekly bookings commence June 30 and that first week is booked out. Please also note we have no openings for the Civic holiday.

The weekend of June 15-17, is the Muskoka Triathlon (http://www.trisportcanada.com) and we still have cottages available, although we usually fill up, so don't leave it too long.

For those of you still on the look-out for a summer cottage, we have only one left, #8, a 3 bedroom, which is available for the week of July 14-21, plus 3 vacant cottages for the Labour Day Weekend (Friday-Monday).

The weekend after Labour Day is becoming popular and filling up, but after that we have plenty of vacancies, right through until Thanksgiving. If you don't have children or your kids are not yet school age, consider holidaying with us in September. Our weekly rates are reduced, the nights cool, the days warm and it is a great time of the year for a walk in Algonquin or Arrowhead.

Till next time

John
