August Update (Finally!)

Hello Blog Readers.

Sorry for the silence but it has been busy.

The weeks are just flying by! Where is the summer going? A cool, windy day today after last nights heavy rain. But the day ended up sunny and a bit warmer, so everyone was happy.

Spent the day raking, yet again, fixing up what last nights rain did. I have never seen such ruts in the beach.

A few weeks ago, we had a sighting of what our guests were sure was a wolf! It has never returned but in conversation with the MNR what they may have seen was a coyote cross. Regardless, it added some excitement and confirmed the sighting of the "strange dog like creature" that another guest had seen the week before.

We are starting to get quite a few fall bookings, so if you want to come up and experience the Fall Colours, cool nights, warm days and the peace, give us a call.

Those of you interested in getting a spot for Summer 2007 had best contact us in September or January/February. A majority of our guests are re-booking, so we may not have as many spots open as in the past.

August Already

Wow, the weeks are flying past!

Another big storm last night, similar to last weeks. Spent a good part of the morning raking up the beach, roadway etc..

A much more pleasant day today, now that the temps have dropped off a bit.
