The warm weather continues! Plenty of water on top of the ice on the lake and a very, very muddy driveway.
Come on summer!
Till next time

Marching Into Spring at the Woods (At Last!)
Finally things are warming up. It is over 20c in the sun on our back deck today and the snow is slowly but surely melting away.
Grass and mud is beginning to appear, finally! Although we still have meter high snowbanks etc.. around and a lot of ice.
Had a great day of spring skiing at Mt St Louis last Friday. Off to the Cottage Life show this Friday.
We are booking up quickly and there are only a few spots left for summer 05. Still openings the first week of July and the week of Aug 6, plus a few other spots here and there.
Till next time....

A Snowy March at the Woods
Hi
Winter has well and truly returned to us up here. Just spent the morning taking snow off of whirly birds on the cottage(s) roof and digging out, getting ready for guests who are checking in tomorrow and Saturday.
They are in for a "winter treat". Skiing, both X-country and downhill should be excellent. We are off to Hidden valley again tomorrow.
Until next time...John

March at the Woods
Here we are just a few weeks away from spring, yet with all the snow up here and cold nights it is hard to believe. Just finished a ski out to Penny Island and back. Beautiful day, not cold and only a light wind.
Monday sees us off to Hidden Valley for Lucy's last Monday ski lesson. She has come a long way considering she had never seen a pair of skis (or snow!!) until this year. Still excellent skiing at Hidden Valley and more snow is expected in the next few days.
Guests checking in this coming Thursday, they should have good conditions for whatever winter activity they want to pursue.
